Everything in the world has a reason to exist or build smartphone apps are also build with certain specific task now some of the apps are helpful such as calculator,music player etc whether some of them are harmful and probably we can get addicted to it such as Facebook and YouTube
So it is upon the user who uses that app we could not blame the app because the developer worked hard and build it for certain specific reason

Every thing in world has it own merits and demerits. It depend on the users. Demerits like facebook, whatsapp, youtube etc.,Every rose has its thorn because of that thorns we the rose is bad. like that smartphones has it demirts and it also many merits in smartphones we have use only that things only like brainly, meritnation,etc.,
