Answer:

Most of the statues in Nepal are related to different religions and traditions because the ancient Nepalese were religiously inclined and served many gods and goddesses.

Explanation:

  • Sculpture, like art, is intertwined with Nepalese religious traditions and customs.
  • The majority of these sculptures were created in the service of religion, and despite the fact that the majority of the artists were Buddhist, there is no recognizable Hindu or Buddhist style.
  • The same painters, as in medieval India, are likely to have created art for both religions. For nearly 2,000 years, Nepal has been one of the few areas in the world where Buddhism and Hinduism have coexisted harmoniously.
  • Despite the fact that Hinduism is the state religion, the two religions are not only historically linked, but they also share many common goals, making them significantly less different in practice than in theory.
  • It makes little or no difference whether one obtains blessings from a Hindu or Buddhist god in Nepal, as long as the deity is effective.
