From recent research,it has been discovered that most  classical ciphers are likely to be affected by Frequency analysis attacks due to information leakage. Nevertheless advanced ciphers such as the one time pad are likely to resist frequency analysis because of a fundamentally flat and uniform frequency distribution . Moreover modern ciphers such as AES and DES are resisitant to frequency analysis because they are formed from the combination of the new techniques and the classical ciphers which are known with the ability to safeguard information.
