Mother divides rupees 500 among Anu ,Manu and Tanu such that Anu gets 4 times of Manu. Manu gets 3 times of Tanu. find the amount received by each one of them

Anu gets 4x times of anu

Manu gets 3x times of tanu and

Tanu get x rupees

So, mother divide 500 rupees among them

therefore,

500 = x+3x+4x

500=8x

8x=500

x=42

The amount received by each of them is rupees 42.
