A father contributes half of his DNA to all of his children. The only real exception is that his Y-chromosome is given in whole to each of his sons, as his Y-chromosome makes him male, as it does his sons. If he contributed his X-chromosome, they wouldn’t be sons! So… in short, all of a man’s sons are 50% of their father, albeit a different 50%, as the jumble each got was random.
