Explanation:

Suggestions For An Organization To Motivate Its Staff

Motivation is a highly agreeable quality. We can compare

motivation to fuel. As fuel gives energy to a rocket to move through space to

its destinations in deep space, similarly, motivation gives mental and physical

energy to people to reach their goals. Success in any field is impossible

without motivation. For an organization to reach its targets and goals, it must

have highly motivated staff. There are many factors that can motivate the

staff. Some of the highly motivating factors are:

1.     The mission

and vision of the organization. An organization must have a lofty ideal,

besides earning money.

2.     An

organization must have pleasant, enriching, and motivating work-culture. In the

absence of a pleasant work-culture, the staff will surely feel oppressed and

depressed.

3.     An

organization must provide enough incentives to its staff. The salaries and

perks should be higher than those offered by rival organizations.

4.     There must be

healthy inter-personal relationship between all the staff members and the

management committee.

5.      There should be less interference from the

management.

6.     The

organization should hold staff get-togethers frequently.

7.     The

organization must have scientific performance assessment system followed by

suitable appreciation and rewards.

8.     The organization

must provide safety and security of all types to its employees.
