At high altitude, the atmospheric pressure is decreases. Since pressure of the blood inside the mountaineer is high, the nose starts bleeding.

because with increase in altitude pressure decreases and this makes a difference between the pressure enclosed within our body so blood tries to come out though nose ear etc
