answer: movement of a body is defined as the permanent or temperory displacement of a part or body from its position eg movement of limbs forelimbs etc. living beings exhibit movement in responce to external stimuli

while locomotion on the other hand is the complete displacement of the entire body from one postion to another . living beings exhibit locomotion in search of food shelter etc

The most important criteria to decide that something is alive is the movement. All living things move by themselves without any external help. In some cases the movements of living things are quite fast which can be easily observed but in other cases the movements are very slow and hence observed with difficulty.
