Let Mr A Bicycle CP at =₹ x

He sold it at profit of 20%

SP of Mr A Bicycle

x + (x \times 20\%) \\  \\ x + ( \frac{20}{100} \times x) \\  \\  = x +  \frac{x }{5}  \\   \\  =  \frac{5x + x}{5}  \:  \:  \:  \: lcm = 5 \\  \\  \frac{6x}{5}

So,SP of Mr A Bicycle=₹6x/5

MEANS Mr Sold His Bicycle to Mr B at ₹6x/5

Now Mr B Bicycle CP=₹ 6x/5

He sold To Mr C at Gain of 25%

x + (25\% \times  \frac{6x}{5} ) \\  \\ x + ( \frac{25}{100}  \times  \frac{6x}{5} ) \\  \\ x +  \frac{6x}{20}  \\  \\  \frac{20x + 6x}{20}  \\  \\  \frac{26x}{20}  \:  \:  \: lcm \: 20

MEANS Mr C Buys It for=₹26x/20

But Care pays=₹1500

A/Q

 \frac{26x}{20}  = 1500 \\  \\ x = 1500 \times  \frac{20}{26}  \\  \\ x = 1500 \times  \frac{10}{13}  \\  \\ x = 1153.84

Approx=₹1154

X is Cost on Which A Buys

\boxed{\mathsf{A \:Buys\: it\: in=Rs.1154}}
