Given data in the questions are as follows,

A start a business with Rs. 7000\\ for 2 year means 24 months

after  10 month Mr. B joins by investing certain amount ,

let the Mr. B amount be Rs. x

we have to find B's contribution in the capital so,

A's starts a business with Rs. 7000 for 2 years means 24 months.

hence, total investment of capital of A is 7000 multiply by 24 is equal to 168000.

B's starts a business with Rs. x  after 10 months ,means the investment of capital of B , 24months minus 10 months is 14 months ,is equal to 14x.

if the profit is 2:3, the investment of capital both also divide into ratio2:3.

\frac{168000}{2} =\frac{14x}{3}

Dividing 168000 by 2,we get

84000=\frac{14x}{3}

Dividing 84000 by 14,we get 6000

x= 6000 \times 3

x=18000 but, we have to find Mr B contribution in capital 14 x

Therefore, 14x=14\times 18000=252000.
