13 Rows of Class X , & 12 Rows for Class IX ,  number of students of class IX and also of class X in a row = 8

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 104 students in class X and 96 students in class IX.

so arrangement should be like this

Class X has one extra row  ( start with class X & end with Class IX)

Let say class X rows = N

then Class IX rows = N - 1

104/N  = 96/(N - 1)

=> 104N - 104 = 96N

=> 8N = 104

=> N = 13

13 Rows of Class X

& 12 Rows for Class IX

number of students of class IX and also of class X in a row = 8
