Mr. Bose gave 2/3 of his wife. His wife gave 3/4 of her money to her daughter. Two thirds of the daughter’s money was stolen and she was left with rs30000. How much money did Mr. Bose have?

Here is the solution:


Let the Mr. boss's total money be x.


As per the question,


Mr. boss gave his wife = 2/3 of x = 2x/3


His wife gave her daughter=3/4 of 2x/3


=3/4*2x/3


= x/2


Money stolen= 2/3 of x/2


= 2/3*x/2


= x/3


Money left with his daughter = x/2-x/3


= x/6.


Also money left =30,000.


So, x/6=30000


=>x= 30000×6


=>x=1, 80,000Rs.


Therefore,  answer Mr.boss had 180000Rs.
