Here is the answer

Let Kasam makes 'x' eathen pots per day .
Then the cost of each earthen pots is Rs.(10x + 40 )

From the given condition,

x(10x + 40) = 600

Therefore,

10x^2 +40x - 600 = 0

Dividing by 10 ,

x^2 + 4x - 60 = 0

x^2 + 10x - 6x - 60 = 0

x(x + 10) - 6(x + 10) = 0

(x - 6)(x + 10) = 0

x = -10 or x = 6

But the number of earthen pots cannot be negative.

So, x = -10 is not acceptable.

So,
x = 6

The cost of each earthen pots
= 10x + 40

= 10(6) + 40

= 60 + 40

= 100

Final answer

He makes 6 earthen pots per day and cost of each earthen pots is Rs 100
