Answer:

1.6 percent

Step-by-step explanation:

C. P of comp. =rs32000

C. P of oven =rs6500

Loss on comp. =5%

Therefore, 5/100×32000

=rs 1600

Now the cost of comp. =32000-1600

=rs 30400

Profit on oven =15%

Therefore, 15/100×6500

=rs975

Now the cost of oven =6500+975

=rs 7475

Total S. P on total transaction =30400+7475

=rs 37875

Total C . P on total transaction =32000+6500

=rs 38500

S. P <C. P

therefore there is a LOSS

C. P-S. P

Loss=Rs 38500-Rs 37875

=Rs625

Loss%=625/38500×100=1.6%

Step-by-step explanation:

C. P of washing machine =rs32000

C. P of  dinner set  =rs6500

Loss on washing machine =5%

Therefore, 5/100×32000

=rs 1600

Now the cost of washing machine =32000-1600

=rs 30400

Profit on  dinner set  =15%

Therefore, 15/100×6500

=rs975

Now the cost of  dinner set =6500+975

=rs 7475

Total S. P on total trancation =30400+7475

=rs 37875

Total C . P on total trancation =32000+6500

=rs 38500

S. P <C. P

therefore there is a LOSS

C. P-S. P

Loss=Rs 38500-Rs 37875

=Rs625

Loss%=625/38500×100

=1.6%
