First let us calculate the Liters of oil that we need to

top-up:

Volume oil needed = 1200 L – 450 L = 750 L

Then calculate the total price of 750 L of oil:

Total price = 81.5p / L * 750 L = 61,125p

The discount percent is 7.5% or 0.075 in decimal,

therefore the total discount is:

Total discount = 61,125p * 0.075

Total discount = 4,584.375p
