Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has announced the enforcement of a "modified lockdown" in the State in a phased manner from April 21. Factories and industrial units in the rural areas and industrial areas will start functioning after April 20. This step will provide employment to the migrant labourers staying at different places in the State.

During the modified lockdown in Rajasthan, the government offices will also be opened in a phased manner. At present, only the departments involved in essential services are fully functional. The presence of Group-A and Group-B officers in the offices will be ensured as per the requirement, says Mr. Gehlot.
