let his monthly income be ₹x

savings = 25% of x = ₹0.25x

income = expenditure + savings

x = 8400 + 0.25x

0.75x = 8400

75x = 840000 => x = ₹11200

his monthly income = ₹11200

his monthly savings

= 0.25x = 0.25 × 11200 = ₹2800

Answer: his savings = ₹2800

⚡Hey mate⚡

✨Here is your answer✨

Mohit saves 25 % of his monthly income

It means that he expenditures 75 % of his monthly income

Because income is 100 % and he save 25 %

Than 100 % - 25 % = 75 %

It means that he expenditures 75 % of his income.

And given in the question that he is expenditures 8400 rupees

It means that 8400 rupees is equal to the 75 % because this is the percentage of expenditures.

Then

75 % = 8400

1 % = 8400 ÷ 75

1 % = 112

If 1 % equal to the 112 the 100 % is ???

1 % = 112

100 % = 112 × 100

100 % = 11200

Total income is 11200.

We want monthly savings

Savings = income - expenditures

Savings = 11200 - 8400

Savings = 2800

Your answer is 2800.

I hope it's helpful for you. Thank you ❤️❤️
