let the total property be X
∴,the son will have 1/3X of the property
remaining is 2/3X
the daughter will have 1/4 of 2/3X
                                     =1/6X of the share
the wife has Rs.2,00,000
according to the question
1/3X + 1/6X + 2,00,000=X
after solving this equation we get
X=4,00,000
Hence,the man has a total of Rs.4,00,000
