Given :

Number of blueberries = 20

Number of grapes = 30

To find :

Maximum number of bags that he can pack

Solution :

  • For finding the maximum number of bags that should have equal number of blueberries and grapes we should find the Greatest common divisor(GCD) of number of blueberries and grapes
  • G.C.D of  20 and 30 = 5
  • No of blueberries in each bag = 20/5  =4
  • No of grapes in each bag = 30/5   =6
  • so we require 6 bags with each containing 4 blueberries and 6 grapes

The number of bags required is 4
