Mr. Roy found an old bill which shows that he brought 10 hens for Rs._67.92_. The first and the last digits were missing. What was the cost of each hen?

10 hens are purchased  for    _67.92_  
let the missing digits be  = a and b respectively.
total cost of 10 hens =  C = 100 * a + 67.92 + b/1000

cost of one hen = C/10  = 10 a +6.792 + b/10,000
                          = a6.792b
                      or    a6.79   rounded up to 2nd decimal place.
                         a is 1 or 2 or 3 ....9..

the cost of a hen is 6.79 or 16.79 or 26.79 or  .....  96.79
