Input tax Rs. 8850

ITC=RS. 8850

Output tax Rs. 10030

GST payable =

OUTPUT TAX - ITC

10030-8850

1180 RS

GST RATE 18% OF 1180

18/100*1180

212.4₹

CGST=SGST= 212.4/2

₹106.2

● Answer-
CGST = SGST = 90 Rs.

● Explanation-
# Given-
Cost price with GST = 8850 Rs.
Selling price with GST = 10030 Rs.

# Solution-
GST on cost price = 18/118 × 8850
GST on selling price = 18/118 × 10030

Total GST = GST(selling) - GST(buying)
Total GST = 18/118 × (10030-8850)
Total GST = 18/118 × 1180
Total GST = 180 Rs.

CGST = 1/2 GST = 90 Rs.
SGST = 1/2 GST = 90 Rs.
