Length of wire required= 8(2(60+15))m
= 16(75)m
=1200 m
cost of fencing = 1200×18.85 Rs.
=Rs. 22620
= 16(75)m
=1200 m
cost of fencing = 1200×18.85 Rs.
=Rs. 22620

Solutions :-
Given :
Length = 60 m
Breadth = 15 m
Find the perimeter of land :-
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)
= 2(60 + 15)
= 2 × 75
= 150 m
Given :
Each side of this land is to be fenced with 8 rows of wires.
Find the Length of the wire required to do so :-
1 row of wires = 150 m
8 rows of wires = 150 × 8 = 1200 m
Find the the cost of fencing at the rate of Rs. 18.85 per metre :-
1 m = Rs 18.85
1200 m = Rs 18.85 × 1200 = Rs 22620
Hence,
a) Length of the wire required to do so = 1200 m
b) The cost of fencing at the rate of Rs. 18.85 per metre = Rs 22620
