Father(x) has two sons youger(x1) and elder (x2)

Four year ago: (x - 4)=3(x2-4)

Four year hence: (x2+4)=2(x1+4)

The present age of youger son(x1) is 8 putting value in equation 2 we get elder son(x2) be 20 years.

Put the value of x2 in equation 1 and we get Father's current age be 52 years.
