Mr Sharma wants to build a wall around his rectangular plot of land. The length of the plot is 300m and breadth of the plot is 200m. If the cost of building the wall is ₹1000 per metre, how much will he have to spend? give solution

ANSWER:  length of rectangular plot=300 m

                    breadth of plot =200 m

                     perimeter = 2 [ length + breadth]

therefore,perimeter=2[300+200]m

                                   =2*500 m

                                    =1000 m

cost of building 1 metre of wall= rupees 1000

SO,cost of building wall in 1000 m= rupees 1000*1000 = RUPEES 10,00,000

so ,total cost of building wall in plot=RUPEES 10,00,000
