Mridul jogs around a rectangular park, 100 m by 80 m, at the rate of 9 km per hour. How much time will he take in jogging 6 rounds?​

Given:-

length of rectangular park,

100 m by 80 m.Speed of Mridul =9 km/h.

To find:- time taken by Mridul to jogging 6 rounds.

Solution:-

perimeter of rectangle =

2(l+b). 2(100+80). = 360 m.

6 times of 360 m = 360x6 =

2160 m.

= 2.16 km.

Time distance/speed.

= 2.16/9. = 0.24 h.

= 0.24 hours = 0.24×60 minutes.

= 14.4 minutes.

Hence the required answer is

14.4 minutes
