Mrs. Ghosh had a piece of striped cloth length 50 cm and breadth 25cm. She cut out a triangle and a square - each of area 100 sq cm from it to use in an appliqué-work bedsheet that she was making. How many square centimetres of the striped cloth is remaining?​

Area of stiped cloth =50×25cm²=1250cm²

Area of the cut - out triangle & square=100×2=200cm².

Therefore , area of the remaining clothe=1250-200cm²
