Mrs.Nair bought four packets of peanuts,each weighing 250.50 grams.Mrs Sen bought 3 packets of peanuts,each weighing 330.85 grams .who bought more peanuts by weight,and by how much?

Answer:

Total weight of peanuts bought by Mrs. Nair = 250.50 g X 4 = 1002 grams

Total weight of peanuts bought by Mrs. Sen = 330.85 X 3 = 992.55 grams

Difference = 1002 grams - 992.55 grams = 9.45 grams

Therefore, Mrs. Nair bought 9.45 grams more
