Mrs pumphrey is a loving pet owner. However her excess love leads to problems in her dog. On a more parallel scale, there are indulgent parents who pamper their children in a similar manner leading to behavioural problems in children. Bring out your views on the same in about 200 to 250 words

A saying goes "too much sugar is bitter", love and pampering can be the same case. A parent loves their child unconditionally but sometimes this love can become a negative factor that affects the child growth. Moderation is an essential factor in parenting even when showing our love to children.

  • Children are young and are yet to face the outside world. When they receive excessive pampering and love from their parents they expect the same from people around them outside their houses and when they do not receive the same treatment, tantrums start.
  • A child who is raised with an excess of love and pampering with no discipline will have a difficult time adjusting to the outside world that does not revolve around them. They might be prone to throwing tantrums and misbehaving in public. Parents who do not discipline their children about their tantrums are enabling their children for further more intense traits.
  • These children grow up to be adults who do not have basic manners and don't have any respect for other people. Since their lives, their parents have cooed them than they expect everyone else to follow their ways. These types of people can have difficulties having friends or romantic relationships as they are so much absorbed in themselves that they don't know how to treat the other person as an equal.

Therefore parents need to know a limit between showing their love and care and discipline of their children. This is important for overall child growth.
