Mrs. Vandana purchased a pair of slippers for ₹ 110 including sales tax. if the selling price of the slippers was ₹ 100 , calculate the rate of sales tax.

HEY Buddy.....!! here is ur answer

Given that Cost Price of a pair of slippers = 110Rs.

and selling price of slippers = 100Rs.

Then sales tax = 110–100 = 10Rs.

Rate of sales tax = 10×100/100

=> 10%

Thus, the rate of sales tax = 10%
