Shah jahan is remembered un history as a graet builder of monuments. His reign is sometimes called the Golden Age of mughal architecture. Shah jahan erected many splendid monuments the mist famous of which is Taj majak in agra built as a tomb for his wife empress mum Taz majak (Arjumand banu begum?). The pearl mosque and many other buildings inside the red fort (quila Mubarak) at agra , the palace, the red fort and jam a masjid in Delhi, mosques in lahore (Pakistan)and a beat if u mosque In thatta (Pakistan) the most famous and precious throne in the world the takht-e-taus or takht-e-shahenshah-e hindustan (peacock throne ) was also created by him.
