Answer:muhammad bin tughluq is called mad man of india because he made many plans but none of them were carried out properly. he made many unsuccessful attempts such as:

1. he changed hid capital from delhi in north to daultabad in deccan and also made roads for his ministers and officials,thus spending a lot of money but when he realised that there is no protection in north,he again changed his capital from daultabad to delhi. much money of country was wasted on this process.
2. he was impressed by paper currency of china and thus tried to make the currency of india way better.during this courption in india increased.the traders and merchants stopped bussiness with india and thus caused shortage of money and famine and muhammad bin tughluq had to pay it with royal money.
