Answer:

Illustration using left hand

Illustration using left handIf we arrange the thumb, the center finger, and the forefinger of the left hand at right angles to each other, then the thumb points towards the direction of the magnetic force, the center finger gives the direction of current and the forefinger points in the direction of a magnetic field.

Answer:

Explanation:

Hi, Remember these points and you will be comfortable with this topic!!!!

This rule can show that the direction of the force on a conductor depends upon the direction of current and the direction of magnetic field

Alert: Here, I haven't mentioned the rule exactly, only explanation is given which is very similar to the rule itself but follow your text to study the rule!!

-> According to this Fleming's left hand rule

1) Stretch your thumb, forefinger and middle finger of your left hand.

2) They should be arranged in such a way that each finger should be  mutually perpendicular to each.

Important point=> If the Forefinger points in the direction of magnetic field,

the middle finger in the direction of current, then the thumb will point in the direction of motion(force acting on conductor)
