Mukul had three times as much as Atul. If Mukul gives Rs 250/- to Atul, he will have twice as Mukul has now? How much money will each of them have. guys pls tell the answer with clear steps

mukul gives rs250 to atul
now atul has x+250
but atul twice that money it will be=2(x+250)
given that mukul=atul after twice
MUKUL=ATUL
3x=2(x+250)
3x=2x+500
3x-2x=500
x=500

Mukul has at first =3x
atul has at first. =x
mukul has=3x=3(500)=1500
