Answer:

Let Sagar has x, thus, Mukund has x +

50.

=> total amount = 15000

=> amount of Sagar + amount of Mukund

= 15000

=> x + (x + 50)= 15000

=> 2x + 50 = 15000

=> 2x = 14950

=> x = 7475

Sagar has = x = 7475

Mukund has = x + 50 = 7525

Question :

Mukund has ₹50 more than Sagar. If their product of the amount they have is 15000. Then find the amount each has?

Solution :

Let the amount with Sager be Rs. x

The amount with Mukund = ( x + 50 )

The no. denoting rupees are x and x + 50

From the given condition :

  \sf ⟹x  \: \times \:  (x + 50) = 15000

  \sf ⟹x ^{2}  + 50x - 15000 = 0

 \sf ⟹x ^{2}  + 150x - 100x - 15000 = 0

\sf ⟹x \: (x + 50) - 100 \: (x + 150) = 0

\sf ⟹(x + 150) \: (x - 100) = 0

\sf ⟹x + 150 \: (x - 100) = 0

 \sf ⟹x + 150 = 0 \:  \: or \:  \: x - 100 = 0
