1st. Working because I love to be busy, also I learn a lot from working. I love to see what I accomplish. It makes me feel useful. What kind of work? Any, sewing, mowing grass, building things, working with animals, stocking shelves, arranging flowers, painting, alterating clothes, secretarial work, anything. Any job I’ve ever done both paid and unpaid I have gotten a sense of accomplishment, except for washing dishes and floors and laundry. I wish everyone would clean up after themselves. I like working more than not working.

2nd. Cooking/baking. I like to create. New flavors, new ingredients and the old favorites. I love to feed people. I just wish people weren’t so picky. You can experience so much through food.

3rd. Reading. I have a library of over 800 books (and growing). Reading is amazing. I don’t like to travel, but I do. I am almost always disappointed with the experience. I’ve stayed in extremely expensive hotels and slept in my car while traveling, so I’ve tried the whole range. Reading though lets me travel to worlds I will never experience no matter how much or how little money I spend. I also read to learn. I read everything from science and medicine to building diagrams to how to books to cookbooks to history to…..I don’t read newspapers though, I hate the ink. (When I travel I make it a point to never visit the same place twice.)
