My Firefox Fusion 2.6 (21 speed shimano ef500) does not shift to number 2 when clicking the front gear shifter and makes a crackling noise, but comes back to normal after shifting back to number 1. Rear gears work fine. What is the problem with the front gears?

When u click to no.2 check ur wire is it alright?
And as fast as possible u can go to the showroom for repair,
and if u continue to ride the cycle the gear chain will soon be derailed and after repairing also it will not work smoothly as before
and be careful not to do much adventure with that like jumping on uneasy roads ,holes etc.
I'm telling so bcoz it had happened with me so I didn't have Firefox but a gear cycle.

It's just new. Do we have to adjust the front derailleur?
Better u consult with the showroom , gear cycles are very delicate to handle so don't do anything urself ,consult showroom
and don't change the gear very fastly means continuously
