My granny lost her spectacles,
And then she went to bed.
i peeped at her and there they were;
On top of Granny's head!
I took them gently in my hand
And stood high on my toes;
And then I held my breath real tight
And put them on her nose.
My Granny did not wake at all.
She only winked one eye,
And so I guess perhaps she thought
That I was just a fly.
