When they were walking the narrator suggested to take a taxi for reminding todd that hehas taken a dollar for the taxi.then he asked how many american dollar was used and how much he spent in the whole trip but todd kept no account and the narrator understood that todd has totally forgotten about the dollar the narrator lent
