Answer:

50

Explanation:

My age be x yrs. and mom's age is x+20 yrs.

After 30yrs,I will be (x+30)yrs.

Then x+30=2x

Then x=30.

Their age difference =20 yrs

Then,(x+50)÷4=(30+50)÷4=80÷4=20

Then, after 50 yrs.,the difference between our ages would be quarter of my age.

Given:

Mom's present = 20 yrs

After 30 yrs it would twice as old as today.

To Find:

After how many years, the difference between our ages would be a quarter of my then age.

Explanation:

Let my age be x yrs.

Then my mom's age would be  (x+20)yrs.

Then after 30yrs it would be (x+30)

x + 30 = 2x

x=30

Age difference = 20 yrs

(x+50)/4

=(30+50)/4

=80/4

=20

Then after 50 yrs the difference between of age will be 1/4 of my age.
