My mother has 90 cm lace with her. she wants to stitch this lace on the border of my square handkerchief. If the length of each of each side of my handkerchief is 20 cm, find the length of the remaining lace. ​

LENGTH OF ONE SIDE OF HANDKERCHIEF= 20 CM

FOR THIS QUESTION WE WILL FIND PERIMETER AND PERIMETER = SUM OF ALL SIDES = 20 x 4 = 80 CM

SO NOW WE GOT THE LENGTH OF LACE NEEDED SO WE CAN MINUS AND FIND OUT WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF REMAINING LACE

THAT IS  90 CM  -   80 CM = 10 CM

THEREFORE 10 CM LACE IS REMAINING.
