My mother says in her childhood petrol was Rs. 1 litre. It is Rs. 52 per litre today. By what percentage has d price gone up?

Given petrol present price = 52.

Old price = 1

Price Increased = 51

Increased % = 51 x 100/1

                    = 5100%.

increased value=52-1=51  

increase %= 51/1*100=5100%
