This is the answer to your question.

Hope this helps you and please mark me as brainliest.

Explanation:

It occurs when an injury causes a break in the skin and damage to blood vessels. This is called bleeding.

Most of the time when we cut ourselves, we bleed and the body forms a clot to stop it. In severe bleeds when a large vessel is damaged, the bleeding can flow too quickly from a clot to form.

Here is another answer. Hope this also helps :)

Explanation:

Our skin is a protective layer over our bodies. When that layer get damaged, the blood vessels that are directly underneath it are torn, allowing blood to come out. A small cut tears just the small vessels near the skin, and only a bit of blood drips out. A big cut tears the big vessels that are farther away from the skin, causing a lot of blood to drip out. When you have a smaller cut, it takes a shorter amount of time to heal and gain a scab. When you get a larger/ deeper cut, it takes longer for the vessels and skin to heal up which may lead to scarring to appear in that area on your skin. I really hope this helped ;)
