According to the figure,
AB = AC and AD = AE
x - 10 = 14 - y and x - 1 = y + 3
x + y = 14 + 10 and x - y = 3 +1
x + y = 24 and x - y = 4.
Adding both equations,
2x = 28
x = 14
Putting x = 14 in equation, x - y = 4
14 - 4 = y
y = 10.
=> SO, x = 14 and y = 10.
