in compounds the constituent elements are in specific amount and can vary just at a small scale
in mixture the constituent elements are mixed at indefinite amount and there is no specific values for it

Compound is a chemically formed material..

It is usually obtained by reacting the elements with some heat.

Mixture is a physically formed material..

It is usually obtained by just mixing the elements without any heat or any chemical reaction..
