Question

my question is that lets suppose we have atomA that is oxidizing so another ATOM B near to it will do reduction process at the same time?this is my biggest confusion hope u guys solve it

the atom A to undergo oxidation(the gain of oxygen-in this case/loss of hydrogen) needs oxygen which is provided by atom B which undergoes reduction(the lose of oxygen-in this case/gain of hydrogen).this occurs in the fraction of seconds hence are considered to occur at the same time.
