My teacher has given me an example of spontaneous combustion that sodium catches fire when kept in air. Can you classify sodium as a fuel ? Give reasons.

yes , as sodium is kept in kerosene. sodium is a very reactive metal and it reacts very beginning with hair as well as water that is why it is kept in kerosene tour we can say that sodium is a fuel
