why kerala has the longest rainy season

Kerala is surrounded by water bodies i.e. Arabian sea on west.So when monsoons blows they bring rainfall from the Arabian sea and strikes on the western ghats.This results in frequent and long rain in Kerala.

because monsoon winds blowing from the sea,first makes a landfall at kerala and then move northwards.
