Answer:

Life of a soldier on D-day

Day 1 : So, I started writing this novel, I realized that I probably won't make it out alive, so I decided to buy a cheap pen and paper from the stationary shop near our camp, after one week, we shalt March to Normandy, many lives shalt be lost, but it shalt be worth it, we shall die, for our families and children, Long live the motherland, long live brittania!

Day 2: One day closer, one day closer to the invasion of Normandy, my berthern are scared of what will happen to them, and understandably so, the Germans are no pushover, though I'm trying to calm everyone down, I'm not so sure myself, am I ready to die? I have no idea but what I know is that me and my comrades will not die in vain, we shall fight for safety and prosperity, may Lord improve our morale

Day 3: oh boy, remember when I asked the lord to improve our morale? Well, looks like the lord is a German, because we are more panicky than ever, so many cowards even done a mutiny, and to me, they are almost as bad as the Germans, and while we are it, did I mention my Sargeant?.. Oh no I didn't.. Well, he is doing an amazing job, in fact I think he is the only reason the whole army hasn't abandoned England, he keeps us together, and improves our morale, but oh well, everything can change in a blink of an eye, just like the eastern front

Day 4: ....heh...the Germans carpet bombed Cornwall.. Every building.. Every store, every home, every oil field, they destroyed it, we lost 500 troops, 500 people who I saw as brothers.. I remember I was scared of the landing on Normandy.. But now, I will kill every German I can, we shalt get our revenge, I will burn Berlin to the ground and spare no one, we're coming, germans, we are coming

Day 5: one day before the landing on Normandy, today we were assigned the beaches we would be landing on, I shall be landing on Omaha Beach, if this goes successfully, the allies will win the war, so this is big, I will do my best, and I will stay alive, for I can't miss seeing Berlin burning to the ground

D-Day: so this is it huh? Germany's second D-day? Guess those krauts never learn, I'm certain we will win, but I'm not sure I will make it out alive, I shall stop writing now, I need to get on my U-boat, if I don't make it out alive, then send my regards to my family and friends

After D-Day: ....we won.. It was the most brutal fighting I had ever seen, there was no humanity, and that's including me, everyone in that battlefield was fighting for their lives, and I made it out alive, but, half of our army was obliterated, but oh well, i got back my resignation paper, I really want to go back to Greece, I cannot stand one more day in France, but we'll, it was over, it was finally over!
