As Dennis Kimbro said, “Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it,” my life story coincides with Kimbro’s quote. I have never been dealt a group of hardships or unbelievable events like others had. My life has been easy in a sense, but what makes my story unique is how I react to what I have been given. I have had opportunities that maybe everyone has had such as going to school but I have reacted to this opportunity as choosing to try my best at it. I have chosen to apply myself to the best I can in everything I do. So, as I tell my story it won’t be filled with a whole bunch of emotional events but it’s my story and it has made who I am. My story began in a Deaconess delivery room on January 11th, 2002. I was born to my parents Dario and Tami Nila as there 2nd child (and planned to be last). I was born five years after my older brother Elijah which has made us close. We all lived together in the same house our whole life, I have memories from playing with Legos in the corner by myself to celebrating holidays with friends and family. Nevertheless, as time passes so did our friends and family, as both of my grandpas passed in the following year. I have been fortunate to have been able to experience and appreciate what I do have. My grandmas have been in and out of our lives since I was around 5. However, five years later on May 1st my younger brother joined our family as the youngest child of 3.
