new terminal velocity of the big drop will be N⅔v0

N identical drops, radius of each drop is r combine to from a big drop of radius R.

so, volume of N identical drops = volume of big drop

⇒N × 4/3 πr³ = 4/3 πR³

⇒Nr³ = R³

⇒R = (N⅓)r

we know, terminal velocity is given by, v = 2/9 r²g/9η (ρ - σ)

that is, v is directly proportional to r²

so, v1/v2 = (r1/r2)²

⇒v/v2 = (r/N⅓r)³ = 1/N⅔

⇒v2 = N⅔ v0

hence, terminal velocity of the bug drop is N⅔ times of smaller drop.
